CompactDAQ is a small, modular DAQ system capable of analog I/O, digital I/O, counter/timer operations, industrial bus communication, and sensor
and electrical measurements. A CompactDAQ system consists of a chassis and C Series I/O modules.
A variety of National Instruments C Series hardware is offered to expand existing channel counts using your own software or for use with software such as:
C Series Systems provide an effective combination of channel count, resolution, and speed designed to meet the needs of all types of voltage measurement applications. Select a chassis if required, and select from popular modules used for ICP accelerometers and microphones and more as well as traditional strain gages.

It can perform the high dynamic range measurements necessary for modern measurement microphones and accelerometers and features simultaneous sampling. The NI-9231 incorporates both TEDS and 2 mA of sensor signal excitation source that can be turned on and off, removing the need for external sensor power / signal conditioning, and reducing the complexity of the data acquisition system.

Provides analog input channels for measuring strain as part of CompactDAQ systems. C Series Strain/Bridge Input Modules work with higher-channel-count dynamic strain measurement systems. Modules can acquire measurements from up to eight channels, with compatibility options for quarter-, half-, and full-bridge sensors. C Series Strain/Bridge Input Modules are ideal for application channels requiring measurements at particular times, such as impact tests. They include built-in voltage excitation, as well as transient isolation for high-common-mode noise rejection and improved safety.

RJ50 to Screw Terminal Blocks (qty 4).
NI Part 196809-01. Used with NI-9237 card. The NI-9949 is a female RJ50 to 10-pin screw terminal adapter. It is strictly a connectivity accessory and does not contain bridge completion. Half- and full-bridge completion is provided by the NI-9237 simultaneous bridge C Series module. The NI-9949 kit contains four adapters, one for each channel on the NI-9237. This kit provides the easiest connectivity for the NI-9237. Typically used with a 4-pack of 2m RJ50 cable, NI Part 194612-02, ordered separately.

4-Channel 100 kS/s/ch Simultaneous ±10 V Voltage Output Module.
NI Part 779012-01. A simultaneously updating analog output module. It features overvoltage protection, short-circuit protection, low crosstalk, fast slew rate, high relative accuracy, and NIST traceable calibration. The NI 9263 module includes a channel to earth ground double isolation barrier for safety and noise immunity.
8-Channel, 95 S/s/ch Simultaneous, ±78 mV C Series Temperature Input Module
NI Part 785259-01;The NI‑9212 offers channel‑to‑channel, isolated thermocouple input channels. The NI‑9212 channel‑to‑channel isolation protects channels from continuous voltages up to 250 Vrms and transient (withstand) voltages up to 1500 Vrms. You can use the NI‑9212 in a variety of applications that are not conducive for bank-isolated channels such as white goods testing, in-vehicle data logging, battery stack testing, as well as in various other noisy industrial environments
16-Channel, 75 S/s Aggregate, ±78 mV C Series Temperature Input Module.
NI Part 785185-01; The NI‑9213 is a high-density thermocouple input module that is designed for higher channel count systems. With this module, you can add thermocouples to mixed-signal test systems without taking up too many slots. The NI‑9213 includes anti-aliasing filters, open-thermocouple detection, and cold-junction compensation for high-accuracy thermocouple measurements. The NI‑9213 features NIST‑traceable calibration and a channel‑to‑earth ground double isolation barrier for safety, noise immunity, and high common-mode voltage range.
8-Channel, 400 S/s Aggregate, 0 Ω to 400 Ω, PT100 RTD C Series Temperature Input Module
NI Part 783863-01; The NI‑9216 is a resistance temperature detector (RTD) input module. You can configure the NI‑9216 for two sample rate modes: high sample rate or high resolution. The NI‑9216 is compatible with 3‑ and 4‑wire RTD measurements, and it automatically detects the type of RTD (3-‑or 4‑wire) connected to the channel and configures each channel for the appropriate mode. The module provides per channel current excitation. The NI‑9216 features calibration and includes a channel‑to‑earth ground double isolation barrier for safety, noise immunity, and a high common-mode voltage range.
4-Channel 24-bit DSA module, ±60 V, 50 kS/s/ch, screw terminal input connection, CAT I channel-to-channel isolation.
NI Part 779785-01;±60 V, 50 kS/s/ch, 24-Bit, Simultaneous Input, 4-Channel C Series Voltage Module—The NI 9229 performs differential analog input. The NI 9229 is an effective general-purpose analog module because of its resolution, sample rate, and input range. With channel to channel isolation, your entire system, including the device under test, is protected from harmful voltage spikes up to the isolation rating. In addition to safety, isolation eliminates measurement errors caused by ground loops because the front end of the module is floating.
8-Channel 200 kS/s ±20 mA Current Input Module.
NI Part 783731-01; Card intended for high-performance control and monitoring applications. It features programmable input ranges and variable connectivity options. To protect against signal transients, the NI 9203 includes a channel to earth ground double isolation barrier (250 Vrms isolation) for safety and noise immunity.
NI Part 785748-3501; FlexLogger is application software for quick sensor configuration and data logging of mixed signals. Build flexible, scalable data-logging systems with NI hardware above with no programming required. The Modal Shop rental model NI FlexLogger includes the system controller with FlexLogger preinstalled to minimize setup time.
