With the introduction of 500 lbf Vibration Test Shaker Model 2500E, The Modal Shop is bringing a new level of convenience and usability to vibration testing and stress screening of parts. Whether testing as part of the design phase or during validation to a standard such as ISO, SAE, MIL-STD, DIN, ASTM, or other vibration test standards, Model 2500E simplifies testing of a wide range of objects, from Avionics Parts and CubeSats to Automotive Parts and Mechanical Sub-assemblies and more.
Vibration Shaker Kit Model 2500E offers a large 6 in (152 mm) diameter specimen mounting table, making it easy to adapt to almost any test requirement with a minimum of fixturing. The shaker operates with the Compact Digital Power Amplifier, which, at just 8.8 in x 17 in x19 in (22 cm x 43 cm x 48 cm), is significantly smaller than amplifiers required for other shakers of similar capability. The system requires only single-phase power, eliminating the concern of ensuring three-phase power is available.
Modal-Pod™ Model 2000X15 is designed to simplify the mounting of 1U, 2U and 3U CubeSats by providing a broader standard mounting fixture to meet the standardized sizing of CubeSats. With the common fixture base that is built to interface directly with The Modal Shop’s Model 2500E shaker, the user can quickly mount up to 3U satellites in horizontal or vertical configurations for vibration qualification and acceptance testing based on NASA or other standards.
Further increasing the available mounting area for the shaker is optional Vibration Shaker Head Expander Model 2000X14. With a large 12 in x 12 in (305 x 305 mm) surface with a 25-hole square mounting pattern, the Head Expander allows users to test objects larger than those that can be attached directly to the shaker platform for use in a more diverse range of applications. A metric version, Model M2000X14, with M6 inserts is available.
Horizontal Table Kit Model K2500E500-HT is specially designed to support loads not suitable for direct shaker attachment: test objects may be larger or heavier than what can be directly mounted to a particular shaker or test specifications may require test objects to be oriented in a specific direction relative to gravity. In any of these situations, the Horizontal Table offers an easy-to-use, versatile solution to expand testing capabilities of the Vibration Shaker Model 2500E while still allowing the shaker to be decoupled from the table for use in vertical orientation.
